What Is Sub-Ohm Vaping?

The name sounds technical. The idea is not.

Every coil has a resistance, measured in ohms. Resistance is just how much the coil pushes back against electrical current. "Sub-ohm" means the coil's resistance is below 1.0 ohm. That is the whole definition.

Why does that little number matter so much? Because lower resistance lets more power flow through the coil. More power means more heat, faster. More heat vaporizes more juice on every single pull.

And more juice per pull means three things: thicker clouds, warmer vapor, and a much bigger delivery of flavor.

The Juice: What to Run in a Sub-Ohm Tank

The gear is half the recipe. The juice is the other half, and there are two numbers to get right.

First, the VG/PG ratio. Go VG-heavy. VG is the thick half of the juice base, and it is what makes dense, soft clouds. PG is the thin half that carries sharp flavor and throat hit.
